Quality Roots ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it:
- Contact form submissions: Your name, email address, and the message you submit through our contact form.
- Inquiry correspondence: Any additional information you choose to share when following up on a partner inquiry.
- Analytics data: If Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are active on this site, we collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type, approximate geographic region). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
We do not collect payment information, government identification, or sensitive personal data through this website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide exclusively to:
- Respond to your partner inquiry or contact request
- Assess whether a brokerage relationship is a fit for both parties
- Communicate with you about the status of an ongoing engagement
- Improve our website and communications (analytics only, anonymized)
We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate this website:
- Resend (email delivery): Contact form submissions are transmitted via Resend to deliver your message to our team. Resend processes your name and email address as a data processor on our behalf.
- Cloudflare (hosting and security): This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network traffic and may log request data as part of its infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
- Google (analytics, if active): If Google Tag Manager and Analytics are active, anonymized usage data is processed by Google under their privacy terms.
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to a valid legal process.
4. Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions and correspondence for a maximum of 24 months after the last communication, unless a longer retention period is required for an active brokerage engagement or by law. Analytics data is subject to Google's standard retention settings.
5. Your Rights Under PIPEDA
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information (subject to legal or contractual obligations)
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your rights have been violated

6. Cookies and Tracking
This site uses no first-party cookies for tracking or personalization. If Google Analytics is active via Google Tag Manager, Google may set cookies to distinguish sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on .
Cloudflare Turnstile (used on the contact form) may set a session cookie to verify that you are a human visitor. This cookie contains no personal information and expires at the end of your browser session.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure handling by our service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Links
This site may contain links to third-party websites (including Calendly for booking). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
